About Your Advisor

Monica approaches all aspects of her life by doing her absolute best. She is a consistent top producer and her many past clients in Chester, Mahone Bay and along the South Shore are proof of her commitment to honesty and hard work. Her clients return again and again and are her biggest fans.

Monica began her real estate career in 1993 and saw instant success. She was Rookie of the Year in her first year and then number one agent for the South Shore for many years since. Her extensive work background included managing a successful chain of retail shops, teaching flower design at Conestoga College and owning and operating a successful restaurant for eight years in Southern Ontario with her life partner, Bill. Under their ownership, The SunRoom Restaurant was written up in "Where To Eat in Canada" as one of Canada's best restaurants.

Monica's love of Nova Scotia began on a visit in 1990. After selling their restaurant, she and her life partner moved to "Chester Cottage" in Chester where they lived for several years and later, they settled in Marriott's Cove. Bill has recently renovated a fish store on the water just outside of Mahone Bay into a cottage and a satellite office for Monica. "The Farside" cottage as it is known is where Stratford's legendary chef will occasionally hang up his fishing cap and treat friends and clients to culinary delights.

Monica is a delight to work with. Her enthusiasm, patience, and knowledge helped many buyers find their dream homes and she is skilled at seeing sellers through a process that can sometimes be stressful. She is excited to be a part of the growing Engel & Völkers family and the marketing advantages it will bring to her real estate practice. As always, Monica’s commitment to honesty and hard work will have her working tirelessly for her clients on the beautiful southern shores of Nova Scotia.
