About Your Advisor

Paula grew up in Ontario, but her love for Nova Scotia developed while spending summers touring the Maritimes with her family. During that time, she formed a deep connection with the countryside and the sea, eventually settling in the western Annapolis Valley.

Paula always had a real love for the variety and character of vernacular Nova Scotia architecture, and her passion for photography and design - including formal study in both - led her to embark on her real estate career in 2007. Paula has listed and sold hundreds of homes and has built a strong real estate practice as she appreciates that it takes more than just a house to create a home.

Paula thoroughly enjoys the process of creating eye-catching marketing materials and listings that stand out, whether it's a small home, a million dollar estate, or something in between.  She understands inherently the challenges of her sellers and works to ensure their success. The joy of working with the unique needs of each buyer as they navigate the real estate market, often in a new province or country, is something she truly thrives upon. Paula understands the challenges of making a big life change and that it takes patience and persistence to find that special place that is the right fit for you and your lifestyle.

Paula’s husband Scott is a professional wildlife photographer and they spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors, and in their spare time can be found mountain biking in the back-country, or paddling their sea kayaks in the Annapolis Basin. She loves that the western Nova Scotia area has blossomed well beyond its famous apples and charming fishing harbours and whale watching. Now, day-to-day life can include road trips to organic farms and markets, micro-breweries, wineries, restaurants, cafes, as well as the antiques shops and artists' studios this region is famous for.

Paula understands that with countless miles of coastline and pastoral country roads, there is a lifetime of exploration ahead of those who decide to live here.
